Eastern Samar: Buko Moron Halo-Halo

Ingredients

  • 20 grams buko (young coconut)
  • 20 grams mango, sliced
  • 30 grams gulaman (red, green, yellow)
  • 3 cups crushed ice
  • 410 ml Angel Evaporada
  • 1 pc. choco moron, sliced
  • 20 grams sliced banana
  • 15 grams corn

 

Procedure:

  1. Prepare the buko shell and carefully remove the coconut meat. Shape the shell into a bowl.
  2. Slice all ingredients including mango, banana, and choco moron.
  3. Prepare crushed ice using a blender until finely crushed.
  4. In the buko bowl, place all sliced ingredients: mango, banana, corn, gulaman, and coconut meat.
  5. Add crushed ice, then pour Angel Evaporada evenly over the mixture.
  6. Top with sliced choco moron. Serve and enjoy!
