Marinduque: Star Apple Halo-Halo

Ingredients

  • 1 star apple
  • 2 tsp buko (sweetened)
  • 2 tsp ube halaya (homemade)
  • 1 tbsp nata de coco
  • 2 tbsp gulaman
  • 2 tsp corn
  • 2 cups crushed ice
  • 410 ml Angel Evaporada

 

Procedure:

  1. To assemble: in a coconut shell or glass, layer star apple, buko, ube halaya, nata de coco, gulaman, and corn.
  2. Add crushed ice on top, then add another layer of star apple.
  3. Pour 1 can of 410 ml Angel Evaporada evenly over the halo-halo.
  4. Mix lightly. Serve and enjoy!
